Situated on a quiet lane, yet just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Wedmore with its pubs, shops and restaurants, Rose Cottage is the perfect place to unwind.

Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. If you don't fancy going out, there is room to entertain in the large fully-equipped kitchen-diner, then curl up in the cosy lounge and watch a film, making use of the Smart TV and broadband.

Our main source of bookings is AirBnB, but we encourage any guests to book direct to avoid fees. Prices vary depending on season and popularity, so if you enquire about staying with us, we check the total you would pay through AirBnB and deduct 10%: you pay a bit less, we get a bit more. Prices typically work out at around £100 per night. For your peace of mind and ours, we ask for a £20 per night deposit by bank transfer before we block off the dates, then the balance on arrival, bank transfer or cash.

Normally we set a three night minimum, but we'll consider two night stays especially on week days or out of season, so don't be afraid to ask.

The cottage has two bedrooms (king and twin) and sleeps up to four plus a baby - we can supply a travel cot, high chair and changing mat on request. We also have a double-sided bed guard for kids that have recently graduated to a 'big' bed.

There is a parking space out front - not as small as it looks, but best to reverse into it; see my video on the location page. There is also undercover bike storage with a wall anchor for locking them up.
